Aurel Dahlgrün, *1989, studied 2011-18 at KA Düsseldorf under Prof Christopher Williams, transfers the medium of photography onto self-created paper, into heliogravures, installations and artist’s books. His preferred subject is the element water. In 2018, he won the Ehrenhof Award with his thesis “19 weeks of water”: In 2019, Museum Kunstpalast will show a presentation of his work. At ZERO FOLD Dahlgrün integrates photogravures into an installation that references the specific showcase nature of the project space.
