Jo Kirchherr discovered his passion for an old photographic technique – that of COLLODION photography. Using light by the ton, he manages to bring faces and things onto a silver-coated glass plate so expressly and uniquely that the image moves, seduces and simultaneously thrills the viewer. Here, reduction to non-reproducibility becomes a concept and grotesquely creates a completely new freedom for all participants.
