They are not really in our field of vision, the carparks and open spaces outside a city’s discounters, DIY outlets and furniture stores. agii & Sailor devote their attention to these spaces with a series of photographs and a postcard edition. All motifs for “Parkland” were photographed in Cologne. Taking inspiration from “Uncommon Places” by US photographer Stephen Shore, from 1973-1979, the Cologne-based artist couple documents visions of our time. Simultaneously, “Parkland” is a piece of photography’s editing-free future.
