TIME AS TOOL – Inquiries in abstract photography

Abstract photography places the materiality of the photographic at the focus. The medium is light, captured by negative paper, controlled by time. Neither camera nor object are part of the process; the latter becomes the content with the image that arises, so to speak. Colour and shape, space and spatial constellations are coextensive.
