“Legends of Photography” is the headline of the “Long Night of Projections”, which is planned and held by the DGPh (German Photographic Association). Photographs by major photographers will be projected onto twelve surfaces for the duration of one night at the MAKK.

Winners of DGPh awards of past years, such as Thomas Höpker, Barbara Klemm, Duane Michaels, William Klein, Anders Petersen, Sylvia Plachy and many more, were asked by the German Photographic Association to select photographs that were and are important for their life and creativity. They are icons of photography, images that have shaped our view of the world. But they are also personal and intimate photos that grant us insights into the life and creativity of these photographers.
