Saturday, 22 September, from 11 am - 4 pm at the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum

The world outside your front door or the big wide world? Today, you’re the world explorers setting off on a tour of discovery at the Cultures of the World Museum (the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum).

Photographers Thekla Ehling and Verena Loewenhaupt take portraits of you next to masks, with sombreros and other adventurous and sometimes bizarre objects. Together, you design a small photobook using these pictures and (holiday) photos you’ve brought along with you. And the best thing is: Everyone can take their little world home with them between two book covers!

Participants: max. 8 children
Target group: suitable for children aged 6 and up
Duration: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. including a short break. Please bring a lunchtime snack.
Costs: € 15 + € 5 for materials

Bring along: Your own photos on a world explorer theme, photos from holidays, newspaper cuttings and everything you can think of on the holiday theme.
Come away with: one photobook per child featuring a portrait from the workshop as the cover photo.
