The irresponsible handing of limited resources is one of the most urgent problems of the globalized world. Electronic devices have become our everyday companions, life without them unthinkable. In Ctrl-X, a topography of e-waste Kai Löffelbein traces the opaque routes of western electrical junk and photographs virtually apocalyptic scenes: from the waste tip of Agbogbloshie in Ghana to garbage capital Guiyu in China.
