With a series of events and exhibitions, this year’s Photoszene festival is aimed at an interested young audience looking to get to know Cologne’s photography scene and actively co-shape it with their own inputs and ideas.

In our “Young Scene” section, we summarize a number of special highlights for all apprentices, students and young professionals from 18 years of age:

For example, we’re looking forward to partnership events with “jungekunstfreunde” and “job&kunstfreunde” (the 2 youth initiatives of the Friends of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum and Museum Ludwig), which explore the programme with a photo tour through Ehrenfeld or trace Cologne’s local patriotism with the photo workshop “Liebe Deine Stadt”. Further programme items such as “Streaming Pictures” at the MAKK or the festival get-together on “Long Friday” invite the “young scene” especially – but not exclusively – to explore this year’s festival.
